L’estetica del Caos: il personaggio Pasolini in bilico fra vita e opera.

The Aesthetics of Chaos: Pasolini as a Character Poised Between Life and Text · This article investigates Pier Paolo Pasolini’s column Il Caos as a theoretical and discursive framework that allowed for the role of the intellectual to be reconfigured within the neocapitalist context of late1960s Italy. Through the lenses of parrhesia, madness and corporeality, the analysis examines the progressive collapse of the boundary between life and writing, and the resulting emergence of Pasolini as a character of his own invention. Drawing on Foucault’s and Bakhtin’s theoretical models, the study interprets this process as both a crisis of modern authorship and the expression of a structural tension among truth, power and aesthetic form.

Il contributo esamina la rubrica Il Caos di Pier Paolo Pasolini come dispositivo teorico e discorsivo attraverso cui si ridefinisce la funzione dell’intellettuale nell’Italia neocapitalistica a cavallo tra gli anni sessanta e settanta. L’analisi, condotta alla luce delle categorie di parresia, follia e corporeità, mette in evidenza il progressivo slittamento fra vita e opera e la conseguente emersione di Pasolini come personaggio della propria produzione. Il confronto con i modelli teorici di Foucault e Bachtin consente di interpretare tale dinamica come una crisi dell’autorialità moderna e come manifestazione di una tensione strutturale tra verità, potere e forma estetica.
