This article examines an unpublished anti-Islamic pamphlet preserved in the manuscript Άγιον Όρος, Μονή Μεγίστης Λαύρας, Λ 135 (15th c.), ff. 695r-698r, where it is attributed to Theodore Abū Qurrah, the Melkite bishop of Ḥarrān. Through close textual analysis, the study offers the First systematic presentation of the work's structure, themes, and sources. The pamphlet, divided into a prologue, nine sections, and a brief epilogue, presents a predominantly philosophical and scriptural defence of key Christian doctrines - above all the Trinity and the divine sonship of Christ - within the broader context of Christian-Muslim controversy. Rather than addressing Muslims directly, the text appears to have been intended to furnish Orthodox Christians with theological and dialectical arguments with which to respond Islamic criticism. A careful examination of its sources reveals that much of the text consists of a patchwork of excerpts drawn from later Byzantine authors, including Nicetas Choniates and Nicetas Byzantios, as well as from patristic authorities, thereby displaying a marked degree of intertextuality. On this basis, the attribution to Abū Qurrah must be rejected. The work is therefore best understood as a later Byzantine compilation, most likely composed after the early thirteenth century.
