The evaluation of the phthalate contents of three northern Italian cheeses (grated Parmigiano Reggiano, grated Grana Padano, and Provolone slices) was performed by LC(ESI)-MS/MS, previous extraction by QuEChERS method. Sampling was carried out during processing, storage, transport, and packaging from six different cheese-making food chains. The phthalate contents of these Italian cheeses were compared with the “Specific Migration Limit” (SML) fixed in the European Union (EU).

Abstract
The evaluation of the phthalate contents of three northern Italian cheeses (grated Parmigiano Reggiano, grated Grana Padano, and Provolone slices) was performed by LC(ESI)-MS/MS, previous extraction by QuEChERS method. Sampling was carried out during processing, storage, transport, and packaging from six different cheese-making food chains. The phthalate contents of these Italian cheeses were compared with the “Specific Migration Limit” (SML) fixed in the European Union (EU).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
