The research investigates the attitudes to money in relation to pay satisfaction, perception of pay equity, job stress and psychological variables such as self-esteem and power motivation. A questionnaire, administered to 214 employees, included: the Money Ethic Scale (Tang, 1992); Rosenberg self-esteem scale; McClelland need of achievement and power scale; Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire, and other scales. Answered the questionnaire 214 subjects, employed in different private (n = 120) and public (n= 92) organizations.
