This study introduces CAD-based vehicle models optimized for electromagnetic simulations, with a focus on wireless power transfer (WPT) assessment. The models balance geometric detail and computational efficiency to enable accurate analysis of electromagnetic interactions and human exposure. Mesh quality assessments and the reported numerical evaluations confirm their suitability for compliance-oriented studies. The Fiat 500 model is used in a case study to demonstrate applicability to ICNIRP guideline assessments. The database is freely available under the MIT license on GitHub and includes STEP CAD files and volumetric meshes, providing a practical resource for research on WPT-related EMC and exposure in automotive applications.

Abstract
This study introduces CAD-based vehicle models optimized for electromagnetic simulations, with a focus on wireless power transfer (WPT) assessment. The models balance geometric detail and computational efficiency to enable accurate analysis of electromagnetic interactions and human exposure. Mesh quality assessments and the reported numerical evaluations confirm their suitability for compliance-oriented studies. The Fiat 500 model is used in a case study to demonstrate applicability to ICNIRP guideline assessments. The database is freely available under the MIT license on GitHub and includes STEP CAD files and volumetric meshes, providing a practical resource for research on WPT-related EMC and exposure in automotive applications.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
