In this article the preliminary data of the anthropological study of the skeletal sample of Taforalt cave (Morocco, 11-12000 years ago) are presented. Some dental traits (wear, caries, etc.) and morphological skeletal markers of activity (entheses development and accessory articular surfaces) were considered. The diet was probably constituted of cariogenic and abrasive foods and the Taforalt population seems to have been organised as a complex society, with task specialisation both on a gender and on a skill basis.

Abstract
In this article the preliminary data of the anthropological study of the skeletal sample of Taforalt cave (Morocco, 11-12000 years ago) are presented. Some dental traits (wear, caries, etc.) and morphological skeletal markers of activity (entheses development and accessory articular surfaces) were considered. The diet was probably constituted of cariogenic and abrasive foods and the Taforalt population seems to have been organised as a complex society, with task specialisation both on a gender and on a skill basis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
