This volume brings together the contributions of the 21st EOE Conference (Rimini, 2025), offering an updated overview of outdoor education in Europe as a transnational community of practice. Key themes include the growing relevance of urban and local settings, inclusion and access to nature, gender perspectives and social justice, as well as the role of the body, play, and ecological wellbeing. In responding to contemporary challenges – such as climate change, inequality, and social transformation – outdoor education emerges as a daily practice of care, participation, and sustainability. The Mediterranean hosting context further opens new horizons for research and collaboration.

Abstract
This volume brings together the contributions of the 21st EOE Conference (Rimini, 2025), offering an updated overview of outdoor education in Europe as a transnational community of practice. Key themes include the growing relevance of urban and local settings, inclusion and access to nature, gender perspectives and social justice, as well as the role of the body, play, and ecological wellbeing. In responding to contemporary challenges – such as climate change, inequality, and social transformation – outdoor education emerges as a daily practice of care, participation, and sustainability. The Mediterranean hosting context further opens new horizons for research and collaboration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
