The paper analyzes the regime of cultural property belonging to ecclesiastical entities, starting from the codictic discipline. First, it analyzes the most debated issues in doctrine, such as that concerning the notion of ecclesiastical cultural property. Second, it discusses the open questions that involve this type of property in the current context, especially regarding the character of immateriality and the applicability of the Art bonus.
