I read with great interest the article by Do et al. on the clinical characteristics of older-onset versus common-age-of-onset gout. The authors provide valuable insights into how age at onset influences comorbidities, treatment strategies, and disease expression. I would like to add a perspective on two important aspects that merit further discussion: the role of older women and the potential impact of hormonal therapy during menopause.

Abstract
I read with great interest the article by Do et al. on the clinical characteristics of older-onset versus common-age-of-onset gout. The authors provide valuable insights into how age at onset influences comorbidities, treatment strategies, and disease expression. I would like to add a perspective on two important aspects that merit further discussion: the role of older women and the potential impact of hormonal therapy during menopause.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
