The essay aims to critically analyse the constitutional jurisprudence on the six referendums submitted in 2024. In particular, it highlights the internal contradictions in the decision that did not allow the referendum on the law on differentiated regionalism to the popular vote. The limits of the decision are found, among other things, in the comparison with the opposite decision of admissibility of the Jobs Act question. In the other questions, the dominant note is the enhancement of referendum manipulation: the questions were allowed insofar as they aimed to replace the repealed regulations with the previous rules. While there are differences between the labour questions and the one on the acquisition of citizenship, the essay shows how the difference between “re-expansion” and “reviviscence” is very subtle and insecure. Reviviscence, or the restoration of repealed norms, is a complex phenomenon that can also result from referendum repeal.

Abstract
Reviviscence, or the restoration of repealed norms, is a complex phenomenon that can also result from referendum repeal.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
