The contribution presents university teaching practices grounded in experiential and nature‑based approaches, beginning with an analysis of the principal conceptual frameworks that underpin this perspective. It subsequently offers an in‑depth examination of the pedagogical devices characteristic of Adventure Education, regarded as privileged tools for fostering situated and embodied learning processes. The paper then delineates the modalities through which ENB methodologies are implemented in higher‑education contexts, highlighting the associated educational objectives, methodological rationales, and organizational criteria. Finally, it illustrates a series of concrete initiatives undertaken at the University of Bologna, with the aim of demonstrating the relevance and potential of educational pathways that integrate nature, experiential learning, and the development of transversal life and professional skills.
Il contributo presenta esperienze di didattica universitaria in chiave esperienziale e nature-based, a partire dall’analisi dei principali framework concettuali che sostengono l’approccio; si procede, quindi, alla disamina dei dispositivi formativi propri dell’Adventure Education, considerati strumenti privilegiati per l’attivazione di processi di apprendimento situato e embodied. Vengono successivamente illustrate le modalità di implementazione delle metodologie ENB nei contesti universitari, evidenziando obiettivi formativi, scelte metodologiche e criteri organizzativi. Infine, vengono presentate esperienze concrete realizzate nell’Ateneo di Bologna, al fine di evidenziare la rilevanza e la potenzialità di percorsi che integrano educazione, natura e sviluppo di competenze trasversali per la vita e la professione.
