Recent archaeogenetic analyses carried out on bone remains with stratigraphic context from the southern necropolis of Capo San Marco have yielded important data on the ancestral origin of part of the population of Tharros. In connection with the genetic investigations, some isotopic investigations have been carried out to obtain results on the diet, which now represent a new research perspective to learn about the daily lifestyle of the Punic community and its relationshi with the natural environment.
