IL CORPUS UNIVERS-ITA COME RISORSA PER LA DIDATTICA DELLA LINGUA ITALIANA

The paper provides an overview of the Univers-ITA project and high- lights its main objectives and its educational applications. After a brief in- troduction, the Univers-ITA corpus (Grandi et al. 2023a) is presented. The corpus consists of 2.137 texts written by a geographically and disciplinarily representative sample of university students. It includes extensive metadata, is POS-tagged, and has been manually annotated for linguistic features that deviate from prescriptive norms, enabling various types of linguistic analy- sis. The highest concentration of deviant features was observed in punctu- ation, which was therefore chosen as the main focus for the LMOOC presented in the final part of the paper.
