We have identified two partially overlapping genomic clones that contain part of the 5′ regulatory region of the human carnitine palmitoyltransferase II gene. The 1.2 kb region upstream the transcription start site, as defined by primer extension experiments, shows promoter activity when inserted upstream of a reporter gene and contains a putative insulin responsive element. © 1994.

Abstract

We have identified two partially overlapping genomic clones that contain part of the 5′ regulatory region of the human carnitine palmitoyltransferase II gene. The 1.2 kb region upstream the transcription start site, as defined by primer extension experiments, shows promoter activity when inserted upstream of a reporter gene and contains a putative insulin responsive element. © 1994.
