The chapter analyzes women’s rugby as an educational and social context capable of fostering pedagogical empowerment and transformative agency, within a perspective of active and inclusive citizenship education. Drawing on seventy interviews with players, coaches, and managers, it highlights how rugby nurtures resilience, bodily awareness, and cooperation, emerging as an enabling environment in which women redefine roles and spheres of action. The scrum becomes a metaphor for social agency and shared responsibility, revealing how sport can function as a pedagogical device for social justice and collective transformation.
