On 30 September 2024, the new technical specifications for the telematic civil proceedings came into force, introduced by the Dgsia provision of 2 August 2024. The main objective of this innovations is to strengthen the dematerialization and streamlining of court proceedings, eliminating legal constraints and entropies that existed at this early stage of the process, making the process and its handling more modern in today’s digital age. This essay grapples with the procedural implications of the new technical rules to illustrate what changes and what does not change within the civil justice system.
