Sopravvivenze. Su alcune cinquecentine lionesi raccolte in Sammelband

The article focuses on a 16th-century miscellany, discovered at the Médiathèque of Moulins, which contains five editions printed in Lyon between 1543 and 1559. The miscellany is of particular interest due to the presence of rare or even unique books, as well as editions that escaped the notice of both contemporary and modern bibliographers: volumes, in other words, whose traces had not only been lost, but which seemed to have left no trace at all. This discovery offers an opportunity to revisit the factors that determine the survival of books, and in particular the role played by miscellanies. Finally putting a face to a bibliographic ghost also means reconsidering the reliability of the first two French bibliographers, La Croix du Maine and Du Verdier, and of their Bibliothèques.
