Nekrasova’s collection presents the theme of the house as a central motif, explored in both its concrete and symbolic dimensions. Through an analysis of the various representations of the house in these stories, this study seeks to investigate, from an eco-critical perspective, the relationship with the environment – both natural and socio-historical – within a post-traumatic context marked by a search for new meanings, practices, and relational hierarchies between the human and the non-human.
