Abstract
A tondo relief of an equestrian warrior, which has been set into a wall of the Rocchetta Mattei since the nineteenth century, is here identified as a fragment of a tomb formerly in the cloisters of S. Domenico, Bologna. Parallels with Jacopo della Quercia's Porta Magna at S. Petronio, Bologna, allow the sculture to be attributed to him and dated c.1428-32.File in questo prodotto:
