Il senso della meraviglia per il risveglio del cuore e al mondo, oltre il senso della vista = The Sense of Wonder for the Awakening of the Heart and to The World, Beyond the Sense of Sight

This article aims to offer an interpretation of the theme proposed by the holistic pedagogical perspective and in consideration of the embodiment paradigm. In particular, we intended to address the value of aesthetic experience, hence of an education through the resource of the sensorial universe, in reawakening the value of the intelligence of the heart, capable of integrating discernment and sensitivity. In this respect, the contribution intercepts a formative and educational need where the aridity of the heart can produce blindness to the richness and mystery of existential experience, and where blindness due to visual impairment requires an intervention capable of enabling one to “see”. We therefore asked ourselves: “to see in what sense?”
