In the twentieth century, various thinkers (with an important role played by feminist scholars) have gradually favored a rediscovery of the philosophical significance of eros. This discourse also includes some authors belonging to the Frankfurt School of Critical Theory. In my article I explore this topic with specific regard to Theodor W. Adorno's thinking, focusing my attention on his dialectics and his aesthetics, and more precisely on his concepts of truth and aura.
