Trisha Brown left a profound mark on the history of the Romaeuropa Festival, leaving an indelible imprint on the contemporary dance imaginary of the Roman audience. Her participation in the 13th edition in 1998, titled "Multimediale, molto singolare" ("Multimedia, Very Singular"), was particularly momentous. The two works "M.O." and "Canto/Pianto" captured the spirit of the festival by drawing on early music repertoires (Bach and Monteverdi) and reinterpreting them through contemporary kinetic languages, thus generating new and fertile possibilities for meaning.
