The great religions have contributed to the legal conformation of family relations: for a long time, indeed, the models of religious law have inspired state law, and only lately a remarkable divergence has arisen between the paradigms of the one and the other. The topic of the relationship between religious and secular law is thoroughly analyzed by a university Course and a new handbook. The particular perspective adopted provides an opportunity to rethink the evolution of modern family law and its increasingly clear separation from the source from which it originates.

Abstract
The great religions have contributed to the legal conformation of family relations: for a long time, indeed, the models of religious law have inspired state law, and only lately a remarkable divergence has arisen between the paradigms of the one and the other. The topic of the relationship between religious and secular law is thoroughly analyzed by a university Course and a new handbook. The particular perspective adopted provides an opportunity to rethink the evolution of modern family law and its increasingly clear separation from the source from which it originates.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
