Abstract
The paper examines recent trends in US federalism starting from the turning point represented by the New Federalism. Although reforms, such as Obamacare, have been passed in recent years that seem to restore cen trality to the national government, it’s not possible to provide an unambig uous reading of current US federalism, in which cooperation is undermined by the polarisation of the political system. The outcome is a definition of the relationship between central government and states that is increasingly left to the courts.File in questo prodotto:
