Su Carl Schmitt e l’unità del suo pensiero

This short paper discusses three aspects of Croce and Salvatore’s account of state of exception (Ausnahmezustand) by Carl Schmitt. In this regard, particular attention is paid to the distinction between state of exception and state of emergency; to Schmitt’s commentary to art. 48 of the Weimar Constitution; finally to the notion of institutionalism and its relationship to social and political pluralism.
