Il lavoro analizza in chiave comparata le decisioni del Bundesverfassungsgericht tedesco e della Corte costituzionale italiana in materia di registrazione anagrafica del terzo genere. In Germania, una decisione di incompatibilità ha stimolato un’evoluzione normativa significativa. In Italia, il giudice delle leggi ha adottato un atteggiamento più cauto, pur evidenziando un problema di tono costituzionale.
