As such behavioral strategies are something that change over time and are difficult to explain by simple linear correlations, a model such as this one is useful to the goal of providing a more nuanced understanding of the phenomena and the way that it changes dynamically over time, potentially leading to richer theoretical predictions and potential new directions for research.
