This is the sixth edition of ANGEL’s Global Education Digest, which is now a well-established facet of ANGEL's efforts to support scholars, policymakers, and practitioners from all over the world who are interested in the topic of global education and learning (GEL). This publication marks a change from previous editions of the Digest. The project contributors continue to collate all publications in the field of global education, written in a range of languages, however all references can now be sourced and searched systematically in the GEL database1 which was launched in 2023. This publication therefore provides an introductory overview to those publications, reflecting a state-of-the-art overview from different language settings and cultural contexts. The section introductions presented later in this text by the multilingual research teams are its most significant contribution, offering a meta-analytical look at current academic literature.
