Abstract
The design scenario of complex systems for the human and non-human agents’ interaction, as artificial intelligence systems, is a multidisciplinary field currently involving the definition of new models of fruition mediated by Design Cultures. This hybrid relationship between human body and artificial entity occurs in the digital space of interface, which acquires the characteristic of a multiagent collaborative space; the design dimensions of this system become multiple, considering both its material and immaterial aspect, and the concept of transparency becomes its descriptive quality, fundamental for the denition of a hybrid interaction based on trust. These features can lead to the establishment of a proactive relationship, based on behaviours feedback and argumentation in which information data help to ensure a faster and more rapid interpretation. The aim of the contribution is to analyse the historical and theoretical context that over time has defined the relationship between the design-driven disciplines and the human-machine interaction field of research to identify possible future development scenarios of multiagent systems; in this context, design cultures acquire a fundamental role in the management of complexity thanks to the design of the visual and communicative component, which allows to intervene in the phases of knowledge mediation, information selection and interactive representation of the processes activated in the interaction with complex information systems.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
