The aim of this article is to offer an analysis on how in the translation process, particularly in translating poetry, it is possible to manage the role and impact of emotions depending on the linguistic and cultural context in which the translation operates. Specifically, some observations on the metaphorical concept of “space” as the liminal place within which translation acts will be presented, as well as on how the emotional feelings of a poetic text in translation may or may not vary within that space, conceived as a linguistic and cultural habitat, also modifying its limits.

Abstract
The aim of this article is to offer an analysis on how in the translation process, particularly in translating poetry, it is possible to manage the role and impact of emotions depending on the linguistic and cultural context in which the translation operates. Specifically, some observations on the metaphorical concept of “space” as the liminal place within which translation acts will be presented, as well as on how the emotional feelings of a poetic text in translation may or may not vary within that space, conceived as a linguistic and cultural habitat, also modifying its limits.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
