In 2017, MUPA received a donation from the family of Lange de Morretes, including a large collection of documents and materials (Parellada 2019). After this donation, a reanalysis of the malacological collection of the museum was did, in an attempt to find some of the shells originally included in the Lange de Morretes’ collection. During this research, in 2018, V.A.C.D. found specimens of T. mariae with different index numbers written in the aperture of each shell. They closely resemble two of the specimens used by Lange de Morretes in his description. The discovered shells match the measurements and appearance of specimens CLM 453 and 453c cited and illustrated by Lange de Morretes (1954: 339, table, plates 25–26) (Figure 1), which are paratypes.

Abstract
In 2017, MUPA received a donation from the family of Lange de Morretes, including a large collection of documents and materials (Parellada 2019). After this donation, a reanalysis of the malacological collection of the museum was did, in an attempt to find some of the shells originally included in the Lange de Morretes’ collection. During this research, in 2018, V.A.C.D. found specimens of T. mariae with different index numbers written in the aperture of each shell. They closely resemble two of the specimens used by Lange de Morretes in his description. The discovered shells match the measurements and appearance of specimens CLM 453 and 453c cited and illustrated by Lange de Morretes (1954: 339, table, plates 25–26) (Figure 1), which are paratypes.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
