The Parochial Archive of the Collegiata di Santa Maria Maggiore in Pieve di Cento (Province Bologna), hosts two fragments of a Medieval Hebrew manuscript, datable, on paleographical considerations, to the 14th century and containing parts of Shelomoh ben Yitzchaq (Rashi)'s Commentary. The fragments are described and studied in this article enabling the author to reconnect them to four more fragments (two folios and two stripes) of the very same manuscripts, reused as bookbindings and now preserved at the State Archives in Bologna, described in 1996 by the present author and by Mauro Perani in their catalogue of the Hebrew fragments of manuscripts preserved in the collections of the Bolognese State Archive.

Abstract
The Parochial Archive of the Collegiata di Santa Maria Maggiore in Pieve di Cento (Province Bologna), hosts two fragments of a Medieval Hebrew manuscript, datable, on paleographical considerations, to the 14th century and containing parts of Shelomoh ben Yitzchaq (Rashi)'s Commentary. The fragments are described and studied in this article enabling the author to reconnect them to four more fragments (two folios and two stripes) of the very same manuscripts, reused as bookbindings and now preserved at the State Archives in Bologna, described in 1996 by the present author and by Mauro Perani in their catalogue of the Hebrew fragments of manuscripts preserved in the collections of the Bolognese State Archive.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
