This chapter aims at describing the fundamental role played by Cities in reaching the Green objectives of Next Generation EU Programme, with particular reference to the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP). The purpose of the study is to underline, among the problems, the positive effects that can derive from a real involvement of Cities by the States, in implementing NRRP's.
