The research project focuses on the importance of human capital in improving business productivity and European competitiveness by examining the impact of group identity, incentives (monetary and non-monetary), and institutional frameworks on cooperative behavior among workers. The objectives include studying the determinants of group identity formation and the interaction between social identity and incentives, with a particular focus on the effects on worker productivity and well-being. The project involves experimental economics methodologies, both in the lab and in the field, and includes international collaborations with leading researchers.
