This Summer School in Egyptology and Orientalistics, in Collaboration with the New Bulgarian University (NBU), is located in Sozopol’ on the Black Sea. It aims to investigate the concept of Sacral Kingship in the Mediterranean area, in Mesopotamia and Iran, with particular attention to the Egyptian influence and impact on other cultures in Late Antiquity and Early Middle Age.
