Porticus

The architecture of Emilia-Romagna is the mirror of a polycentric and multicultural region, a historical crossroads of millenary experiences that have left visible and profound traces in its territorial palimpsest. The Porticus series was born "pour l'amour des villes" (Le Goff) and moves in a chronological horizon that oscillates between the late Middle Ages and the contemporary, collecting the results of research on strategic historiographical themes, and then returning them through books that guide the reader to discover an unprecedented cultural landscape, stimulating greater knowledge of it and providing new tools for its protection.

L’architettura dell’Emilia-Romagna è specchio di una regione policentrica e multiculturale, crocevia storico di esperienze millenarie che hanno lasciato tracce visibili e profonde nel suo palinsesto territoriale. La collana Porticus nasce “pour l’amour des villes” (Le Goff) e si muove in un orizzonte cronologico che oscilla fra il tardo medioevo e la contemporaneità, raccogliendo i risultati di ricerche su temi storiografici strategici, per poi restituirli attraverso libri che guidino il lettore alla scoperta di un paesaggio culturale inedito, stimolandone la maggiore conoscenza e fornendo nuovi strumenti per la sua salvaguardia.
