Sull’infrastruttura delle responsabilità sociali nel capitalismo contemporaneo

The chapter proposes a reflection on the "infrastructure of distribution/allocation of responsibilities" in its different forms (starting with the distinction between public and private), in different social groups (based on gender, ethnicity, ability, etc.), in different spheres (primarily between the sphere of social reproduction and the sphere of production, in their complex and articulated dimensions). In the current phase of capitalism, the tension between individual hyper-responsibility and the tendency towards the naturalisation of specific social responsibilities reveals the geography of the normative and political landscape of different social contexts, situating social actors within it and determining their respective power. On this analytical horizon, the chapter focuses on the real possibilities for the different social actors to have the resources to express their own view of the world and to participate in rewriting the rules for a different redistribution of the social organisation of responsibilities, with a view to a different sharing of the burdens and benefits of social cooperation in the direction of greater democracy and social justice.

Il capitolo propone una riflessione sull’‘infrastruttura della distribuzione/assegnazione delle responsabilità’ nelle sue diverse forme (a partire dalla distinzione tra pubblica e privata), diversi gruppi sociali (sulla base di genere, etnia, abilità, etc.), nelle diverse sfere (in primis tra ambito della riproduzione sociale e dell’ambito produttivo, nelle loro complesse e articolate dimensioni). Nell’attuale fase del capitalismo, la tensione tra iper-responsabilizzazione individuale e la tendenza alla naturalizzazione di specifiche responsabilità sociali svela la geografia del paesaggio normativo e politico dei diversi contesti sociale, situando gli attori sociali al suo interno e determinando il rispettivo potere. Su questo orizzonte analitico, il capitolo si focalizza sulle effettive possibilità, da parte dei diversi attori sociali, di disporre delle risorse per esprimere il proprio punto di vista sul mondo e di prendere parte a una riscrittura delle regole per una diversa redistribuzione dell’organizzazione sociale delle responsabilità, in vista di una differente divisione di oneri e vantaggi della cooperazione sociale in direzione di un incremento di democrazia e giustizia sociale.
