This brief preface aims to give a frame to a research project held by CREMIT in Benevento. This experience, quite innovative in the italian landscape, consisted in a Action-Research about media education involving teachers of the local schools and a research group coordinated by Alessandra Carenzio for CREMIT. The specificity of the project is the contamination of media education with strategies and methodologies of cultural animation.
