Abstract
The transcendence of phenomenal reality undertaken by Audrey Coïaniz and Saul Saguatti, with the aim of shaping new visions of worlds, is intensified by their experimental approach to different techniques and devices, which combines traditional and often obsolete manual skills with the most sophisticated and up-to-date digital solutions and applications. This blend of techniques is apparent not only in their videos but also, and above all, in their live performances, where they create graphic or pictorial imagery by means of the direct manipulation of a variety of me dia. Images incorporating foam, sand, ink, emulsions and other liquids, or drawings worked and smeared by hand, lose their concrete, materi al and tangible qualities once transformed into digital images projected onto large screens.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
