Tim Ingold's social anthropology is analyzed for its ability to focus on a new form of anlysis of making processes that thinks of them no longer as derived from the applicaizon of a design idea to a material that relates it top down, but through a continuous horizontal feedback of the material on the intervention of the maker, to the point of producing a knowledge that goes beyond the distinction of object and subject.
