Fonética y fonología españolas para hablantes de italiano

The first scientific studies on Spanish-Italian contrastive phonetics were published almost fifty years ago, but, in spite of the distance that separates us from those beginnings, the accumulation of these works is not as voluminous as one might have supposed. On the other hand, in recent years, there has been a growing interest in the development of Spanish and Italian phonetics and phonology considered in isolation. What is lacking, however, is a comprehensive work that brings together the phonetic and phonological information of Spanish and presents it in a general, complete, orderly and, above all, contrasted way with the Italian phonetics. The objective and aspiration of this volume (Fonética y fonología españolas para hablantes de italiano) is to fill this missing editorial space. This work presents Spanish pronunciation from the point of view of an Italian speaker, that is, from the automatisms that the speaker already possesses through his or her daily linguistic practice.

I primi studi scientifici sulla fonetica contrastiva spagnolo-italiano sono stati pubblicati quasi cinquant'anni fa, ma, nonostante la distanza che ci separa da quegli inizi, l'accumulo di questi lavori non è così voluminoso come si potrebbe supporre. D'altra parte, negli ultimi anni è cresciuto l'interesse per lo sviluppo della fonetica e della fonologia spagnola e italiana considerate isolatamente. Manca, però, un'opera complessiva che raccolga le informazioni fonetiche e fonologiche dello spagnolo e le presenti in modo generale, completo, ordinato e, soprattutto, contrastato con quelle dell'italiano. L'obiettivo e l'aspirazione di questo volume (Fonética y fonología españolas para hablantes de italiano) è quello di riempire questo spazio editoriale mancante, un'opera che presenti la pronuncia spagnola dal punto di vista di un parlante italiano, cioè dagli automatismi che il parlante già possiede attraverso la sua pratica linguistica quotidiana.
