Social enterprises, operating in the broader field of Social Economy, exemplify an "economy that works for people," i.e., they work towards the social and economic inclusion of disadvantaged groups. As a form of inclusive business, social entrepreneurship has proven vital in addressing the challenges posed by the refugee crisis, providing assistance in economic and social inclusion, temporary housing, health, psychological support, language, and education. Consequently, social enterprises are pivotal players in the process of inclusion.
