This paper offers a contribution towards a better understanding of what the brāhmaṇical tradition considers to be the correct pronunciation of the Vedas. Furthermore, it will also give the opportunity to enter the highly complex and mostly unstudied field of vedalakṣaṇa and to look at certain dynamics through which some Vedāṅgas interact with one another.
