The paper aims to understand the contribution that renewable energy sources (RES) may give to crisis management in natural disasters and humanitarian relief efforts. The logistic of relief operations seems indeed to be dependent on the ability to relay during interventions on accountable energy supply. A higher efficiency of sustainable energy disposal should grant a better action in emergency and post emergency management, improving critical interventions while reducing green-house gases emissions (GHGE). More specifically the paper presents the case-study of the "Colonna Mobile Emilia Romagna", as an example of viable solutions in this area. The empirical case is closely linked to the theory of crisis management and humanitarian relief.

Abstract
The paper aims to understand the contribution that renewable energy sources (RES) may give to crisis management in natural disasters and humanitarian relief efforts. The logistic of relief operations seems indeed to be dependent on the ability to relay during interventions on accountable energy supply. A higher efficiency of sustainable energy disposal should grant a better action in emergency and post emergency management, improving critical interventions while reducing green-house gases emissions (GHGE). More specifically the paper presents the case-study of the "Colonna Mobile Emilia Romagna", as an example of viable solutions in this area. The empirical case is closely linked to the theory of crisis management and humanitarian relief.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
