Prototyping products, services, and more broadly experiences is a vital process for successful projects, but it becomes even more essential from the viewpoint of responsible innovation. From a design perspective, prototyping in this context implies a specific challenge when it comes to declining the ethical component at the level of the individual, the detail, the micro interaction and even the rules and laws governing the technologies and tools used themselves. In this section we discuss several case studies implemented in corporate, educational, research or activist contexts that represent the diverse system of opportunities and critical issues along the responsible design and innovation path, and that arise from a careful prototyping phase with users in the target communities.

Abstract
Prototyping products, services, and more broadly experiences is a vital process for successful projects, but it becomes even more essential from the viewpoint of responsible innovation. From a design perspective, prototyping in this context implies a specific challenge when it comes to declining the ethical component at the level of the individual, the detail, the micro interaction and even the rules and laws governing the technologies and tools used themselves. In this section we discuss several case studies implemented in corporate, educational, research or activist contexts that represent the diverse system of opportunities and critical issues along the responsible design and innovation path, and that arise from a careful prototyping phase with users in the target communities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
