This chapter goes beyond the twofold nature of AI technologies as a mere juxtaposition of opposing views. The idea is that the adopting firms, in particular new entrepreneurial ventures and SMEs, can limit the negative consequences of the labor-saving impact of AI technologies by focusing on the creation of entirely new products and services. The impacts on the labor market and on SMEs and entrepreneurship are therefore inherently intertwined. Analyzing them together helps solve the question of the expected effects caused by the inevitable diffusion of these new and revolutionary technologies.

Abstract
This chapter goes beyond the twofold nature of AI technologies as a mere juxtaposition of opposing views. The idea is that the adopting firms, in particular new entrepreneurial ventures and SMEs, can limit the negative consequences of the labor-saving impact of AI technologies by focusing on the creation of entirely new products and services. The impacts on the labor market and on SMEs and entrepreneurship are therefore inherently intertwined. Analyzing them together helps solve the question of the expected effects caused by the inevitable diffusion of these new and revolutionary technologies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
