“Aryan” is the self-designation (endonym) of a group of peoples speaking Indo-European languages in ancient Iran and India. These peoples designated themselves as “Aryans,” as opposed to other peoples who were defined as “non-Aryans.” There is no agreement among scholars about the original homeland of the Aryan peoples, although most believe it should be sought in Central Asia, most likely in the culture of Sintashta (Chelyabinsk region, east of the Urals) or more generally in the culture of Andronovo.

Abstract
“Aryan” is the self-designation (endonym) of a group of peoples speaking Indo-European languages in ancient Iran and India. These peoples designated themselves as “Aryans,” as opposed to other peoples who were defined as “non-Aryans.” There is no agreement among scholars about the original homeland of the Aryan peoples, although most believe it should be sought in Central Asia, most likely in the culture of Sintashta (Chelyabinsk region, east of the Urals) or more generally in the culture of Andronovo.File in questo prodotto:
