Starting with an analysis of the origins, the main characteristics, and the evolution of Cosmic Education, this chapter looks at the centrality cosmic education assumes in Montessori education for children aged 6 to 12. This work examines how cosmic fables, elaborated with Mario Montessori and other collaorators, allowed Maria Montessori to foster active and participatory experiences.
