The purpose of this book is to investigate the relationship between corporate governance, market structure and R&D performance. The motivation for our attempt is the observation that a number of radical mutations are occurring in industries that have played a crucial role in sustaining and fostering the pace of technological progress. Specifically, we refer to three classes of institutional discontinuities: privatisation processes, the increase of mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and market liberalisation.

Abstract
The purpose of this book is to investigate the relationship between corporate governance, market structure and R&D performance. The motivation for our attempt is the observation that a number of radical mutations are occurring in industries that have played a crucial role in sustaining and fostering the pace of technological progress. Specifically, we refer to three classes of institutional discontinuities: privatisation processes, the increase of mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and market liberalisation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
