Immagini, persistenze, fantasmagorie: la rappresentazione della memoria urbana nel fumetto

This paper investigates the narrative strategies used in the language of sequential narration through images in the context of the spatialisation of the historical memory of the urban fabric. As shown by works such as Here by Richard McGuire, Berlin by Jason Lutes or Ménil'décor by Multier and Thévessin, the memory of the city is projected in this narrative form as phantasmagoria and persistence, defining a visual map of collective memories and shared spatial narratives.

L'intervento indaga le strategie narrative impiegate nel linguaggio della narrazione sequenziale per immagini nel contesto della spazializzazione della memoria storica del tessuto urbano. Come dimostrato da lavori quali Here di Richard McGuire, Berlin di Jason Lutes o Ménil’décor di Multier e Thévessin, la memoria della città si proietta in questa forma narrativa come fantasmagoria e c ome persistenza definendo una mappa visuale delle memorie collettive e delle narrazioni spaziali condivise.
